Meet Dr. Paul Majer, D.C.

Dr. Paul Majer has deep roots in Elk Grove Village, where he grew up and still lives with his wife. As his kids were growing up, you could often find him cheering them on or coaching their baseball, softball, football, basketball, and wrestling teams. Nowadays, with his kids all grown up, Paul enjoys tending to his backyard herb and vegetable garden or hitting the local golf courses.

Dr. Paul’s journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a minor in Economics from Southern Illinois University. He spent 18 years building a successful career in Banking, Lending, and Real Estate.

His introduction to Alternative Medicine was personal. After a back injury from yard work, he found relief through chiropractic care. Inspired by his own healing experience, Dr. Paul decided he wanted to help others in the same way. This led him on a new path toward becoming a doctor.

Dr. Paul earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences. He’s continually expanded his knowledge through seminars on advanced adjusting techniques, functional rehabilitation, soft tissue therapies, and concussion assessment. Wanting to offer even more to his patients, Dr. Paul pursued a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine. Now, he provides acupuncture, cupping, and herbal treatments, aiming to treat the whole person and not just the symptoms.

Dr. Paul’s blend of western and eastern medicine means he looks at the big picture, focusing on the root causes of health issues. His compassionate approach to alternative healthcare is all about helping you achieve your health goals in a balanced and holistic way.
